Our journey began in 2007 with an apprenticeship in furniture making and wood machinery, followed by formal training in cabinetry and joinery. After completing this apprenticeship, further experience was gained working with a range of respected employers, refining both technical skill and industry knowledge.
In 2012, we chose to expand our focus into the timber flooring industry. Through this work, we identified a clear gap in the market, staircases. They were often overlooked, with products that lacked both refinement and durability.
Drawing on years of experience in furniture making and joinery, we developed a precise and reliable solution: professionally manufactured stair nosings and stair treads. These components were frequently fabricated on site by installers, where limited tools, materials, and joinery knowledge can lead to inconsistent results.
Producing these elements correctly requires the right adhesives, specialised machinery, controlled factory conditions, and a deep understanding of sanding, staining, and finishing techniques.
This is where our craftsmanship stands apart. Our background in fine joinery, furniture making, and finishing allows us to deliver stair components that match the quality of the flooring they accompany—consistent, refined, and built to last.
Our factory is fully equipped and dedicated to the manufacture of custom stair components. We produce everything from simple two and three piece stair nosings, to fully sealed floating treads, kite winders, and curved staircases.
